USBPre Architecture OverviewThe USBPre is digital system made up of several components. USBPre can be thought of as a combination of stand-alone boxes, made up of a stereo microphone preamplifier, A/D converter, headphone amplifier, and sound card in a single box. The convenience of having all of these components in a single package, powered from the computer is obvious. The block diagram below shows one channel of the USBPre.
